LSW®: AN OVERVIEW OF LOW-SIDE TECHNOLOGY
LSW® (Low Sidewall Technology™) helps users achieve greater productivity while tackling some demanding jobs.
LSW® technology is a hybrid of our wheel and tire technologies, featuring a larger rim diameter and smaller sidewall than a standard tire.
This significantly reduces jumping, road oscillation and soil compaction, improving safety and equipment performance. It is also suitable for intensive use in agriculture, construction and mining.
LSW® FOR AGRICULTURE
Conventional wheel assemblies struggle to cope with the increasing size and power of modern farm equipment, forcing farmers to choose between expensive tracked machines or reduced performance.
LSW® technology, on the other hand, is less expensive than tracked alternatives and offers better performance than conventional wheels. Its compact sidewall reduces oscillation during high-speed travel and eliminates power surges in high-traction applications. It can also support loads with 40% less inflation pressure than a standard tire, considerably reducing soil compaction.
